If Life Holds True

As yet my world threatens to change
Crises begin to build again
Whom am I to deserve this
What have I done to deserve this

My love has a secret
That she will not tell
Is it her hatred for me
Or does she love me still

I know that I am hard
To love as a person
Yet I ask thee to be patient
Give this love some time

Perhaps you move too fast
Perhaps you know me not
Perhaps you rely on others
To get your advice

Perhaps you are right
Perhaps we are not meant
Perhaps we must seperate
Yet I think it not

We two are similiar
In enough ways
Yet we are different
In enough ways

Please think it through
Before you end this love
Because I love you dearly
I know not what else to say

And as my love prepares to leave
Another one reveals her lies
If lies they are indeed
I know not anymore

Perhaps she merely needs time
Of which I will her now
Time as much as she needs
And as much as I need

And yet, if life holds true
I will lose them both
And be alone again
What shall I do

I know not what
Perhaps give up on love
Perhaps try again
Only time will tell
