Wait For Thee

Darkness falls
I wait for thee
To speak sooth now
To tell me all

Do you really wish
For us to breakup
Or is it something else
A progression in love

It could be either
So I say only this
Decide not hastily
For you might slip

Perhaps you and I
Were not meant to be
Though I deem it to be
Perhaps you do not

Perhaps love has lost its way
We are now doomed for all time
Yet perhaps there is still hope
Perhaps there is still time

I love you dearly
Yet part of love must be
Knowing when to let go
Knowing when to quit

If you want me to
I will go now
But ne'er can I stop
Loving you madly
