It's so lonely
Being all alone
Knowing that I'm at fault
Just makes it all seem worse

Time will heal
In years, who knows
I only know
I'll never love so

I've tried hard
In many ways
To get these awful
Feelings away

Poetry and music
Just make it worse
Locking it inside
Never helps

Only time can heal
The pain of the heart
'Cause like the song goes
First cut is the deepest

Rejection's bad
I've had it before
But a broken heart
Is so much more
