Be with you now
So you would not be alone
And neither would I

Yet distance keeps
Us apart
I'm too far away
For even a cart

You have a boyfriend
I, a girlfriend
I wish we were together
Yet we cannot be

All I have
are my poems
Through which I can
Love you so

So never forget
If you need a friend
Lean on me
And I'll help you
