Wandering down by the Shannon's bend
Whistling a merry tune
Carry me those pots of gold
And bring me down the rainbows too

Shamrocks of emerald, and Ireland's pride
Legends of long ago lore
Four leaf clovers and a little Irish magic
Holding each a wish, our fortunate luck

Over the rolling hills of Kerry
Sit under the weeping willow green
Tell me all the stories of old
Timeless innocence and youth
