Flight From Emotions

Take flight,
run from these emotions,
lose yourself
in the pit of hell.

Life is death,
and death is
a state of living,
insurmountable.

Take flight,
run from these emotions,
lose yourself
in the pit of hell.

Take me now,
slash me deep,
for I am lost,
for I am gone.

Confusion is
nothing new;
utter misdirection
is my direction.

Love is foreign,
a delirious dream,
across these frozen lands,
I cannot feel warmth.

Take flight,
run from these emotions,
lose yourself
in the pit of hell.
