Somewhere she stands
In the sands of time
A frozen being
Lost to all
Unaware of the present
Inner struggles
Of wanting
A need to forget
Rediscover a soul
She once lost
Never to get back again

Pieces of a broken heart
Still lie scattered
Across the dunes
Of listless memories
A million moments

Love has left her shattered
Motionless in this land
Yearning, she searches desperately
For the one she let go
