Weary and pressed
Forging a difficult path
Through an impossible journey
Against impossible odds

Fighting dangerous elements
Praying for safe return
Tears fall in the night
Wanting to let go

Trying to help the pain
Contradiction to stubborn pride
Each refuse to change
Never backing down

Beliefs stand tall and strong
Opposition to one another
A burning hate and a passionate love
Swaying in unbalance

Not wanting to give in
Yet having no other choice
Each bow down to the other
Peace and love return
