I'm trapped in this mist
Turning round and round
I'm here, but not feeling
People talk, but there's no sound

Within this place my memories lie
Which have never let me free
I don't know what to do
I've been blind to see

In the shadow of our past
You've never let me go
Have held on subtly
Afraid to tell me so

I want to tug free, but I cannot
The past has made us one
Why can't we say this is over
And let it be done

You've trapped me here with you
In this time of the past
Thinking of all and everything
Something that wasn't meant to last

When I will break free
