Nights Spent

In my far imagination
This is what I see
Nights are spent together
Wrapped in each others arms

Passion might envelop us
As lips are pressed on lips
Or we might sit up together
Holding hands, watching the stars

I find myself in your arms
Head resting upon your chest
Our fingers all entwined
Listening to the steady beat of your heart

Finding ourselves under the moon
Dancing slow in time
Quiet music floats around us
And I lose myself in your gaze

In my far imagination
This is what I see
Nights are spent in many ways
Just us, alone together
