Standing here
All alone
Feeling so cold and lost
Hopeless...
Ever since that day
Not so long ago
I haven't been the same
Going through the motions
Not really aware
Of my surroundings
I push on...
The days drag by
And with each passing moment
I miss you a little more
I die a little more...
Without you
My life is incomplete
Darkness cloaks me
Like perpetual thunderclouds
Floating through the air
Without you
I am but half a soul
Half a heart
An incomplete being
So I ask you
Don't leave me here
In this place
Of misery and sorrow
Help me to see the sun once more
Resurrect my feelings
And breathe life
Into me again...
