Believe as I believe
Live as I have lived
Know as I know
See the terrible truth

Time ticks forever onwards
Carrying lives, souls and hearts
Into a deep black pit
Where all things must end

It is then that you realize
There is no tomorrow
Only today, right now
To do what you must do

So upon this night
As we lie in the dark
Things that lay hidden
Will be pulled into the light

With a few small words
I will redeem myself
Of mistakes long made
And things left undone

For upon this night
What should have been said yesterday
Will be said today
For there is no tomorrow
