Darkness and shadow
Fill me to the brim
And what was once love
Is now a large doubt

Darkness and shadow
Having been forsaken
Yet not forsaken completly
Only makes it worse

Please let it end
I can't take much more
Darkness and shadow
Threaten to drown me

A never ending sea of depression
Is all that awaits me now
Nothing left for me
But darkness and shadow

So you who know me
You who've said I'm great
Bolster me once more
Against darkness and shadow

You who've claimed to love me
You who've read my works
You who read this now
Save me from myself

From darkness...
And from shadow...
