Night And Day

Out of the night
Into the day
Lost was I then
With no suns ray

Darkness had taken
What life I did have
Until the light came
And drove dark away

I fell in love then
With the rays of light
Kept me safe and warm
With no more plight

Out of the night
Into the day
Found I was then
By my sun ray

But my love was torn
From me by her one
Complain I did not
For all was for her

I turned to my dark
My angel in black
Love I found anew
Until I was torn

Torn by ignorance
Torn by shame and taunts
Torn by her despair
Torn with many doubts

For my love was false
I saw her not true
Only an image
Which my brain drew

Out of the night
Into the day
Torn love once more
From nights dark rays

Behind my glass wall
I watch lovers kiss
And know I cannot
Do as they can do

So I may now leave
For my love is false
No one can love me
For I am all torn

Out of the night
Into the day
To find light burns
To find love hurts

Out of the night
Into the day
Back into night
Forever to stay
