If Love Should Fail

What would I do
If my perfection
Is spoiled, imperfect
Far from the truth

If this dream I have
Is revealed to be fiction
If my angel cannot be
What I need her to be

If love should fail
And doubt prevails
If we cannot be
What will I become?

Can I survive
Knowing perfection is broken
Not once, nor twice
But thrice

Will I hold on
To my soul I hold so dear
Or will I shift and change
Become my darker self

What will I become
Will I fall into the dark
Only you can set my path
My angel of the dark
