Deep into night
Why must I love
Deep in my soul

Why do you love
Me, it cant be
I hurt too much
To love at all

How can I love
You so very much
Since we've not met
How do I know

Love transcendes
Time, ignorance
The miles between
Us, this lonely night

Love transcendes
Boundries and rhyme
Intoxication
Can be divine

Yet losing love
Means pain, sorrow
Alone, adrift
Tears so bitter

You remember
The days gone by
Laughter, joy, love
All that you wanted
