For my sake
And for yours
I had to leave
Can you not see?

We could not
Be together long
Too different you see
We could never be

Break-Ups are hard
I know, I've seen
Yet now I see
Sometimes they must be

You cannot see
Because you have not
Been where I have
Loved as I have

In time, you will
Come to understand
Accept, move on
Live your life as planned
